ABOUT
Philip Hayward is an adjunct professor in the School of Communication at University of Technology, Sydney and was previously Deputy PVC Research at Southern Cross University, Lismore. He is founding editor of Shima a journal of research into island and marine cultures. He has researched extensively in Australia, Western Europe and the Western Pacific region and is developing a research interest in the inland sea and lake regions of central and eastern Eurasia.
