ABOUT
The NGO “Institute of Political Information” (IPI) was formed on the basis of political science student club of the Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University. Since 2011, it has operated as an NGO advocating the rights enshrined by the charter of the organization. During this time the organization has accomplished a large number of advocacy campaigns, analytical research, and monitoring projects.
IPI strives to fulfil the gap between society and government, exploring public needs in order to offer to the state and public institutions new ideas and options for their cooperation. IPI staff specialize in various fields: journalism, psychology, political and economic analysis, law and sociology. IPI’s goal is to analyze and discuss problems that have not yet been discussed.Presently, IPI has 8 employees, 4 of whom work on a regular basis, and 4 volunteers.
During the past 2 years, IPI experts have fully dedicated themselves to executing projects in the region. IPI employees and volunteers have expert knowledge of the Odessa, Nikolayev and Kherson regions, and understand the specificity of these areas. IPI experts are familiar with the population, government officials, journalists and civil society activists. This experience allows IPI to successfully implement its projects.
