ABOUT
Ievgen Boiarskyi is an international arbitration practitioner, being an Associate with Eterna Law (successor of AstapovLawyers ILG) in its Kyiv office, Ukraine. Ievgen has about a five years’ experience representing clients in arbitral proceedings held at ad hoc and/or institutional arbitration centers (ICC, LCIA, VIAC, LMAA, GAFTA, FOSFA, ICAC at the UCCI etc.), as well as in court proceedings on recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Ukraine.
Until 2016, Ievgen was a part-time Research Fellow in the Department of Private International Law and Comparative Jurisprudence at the Academic F. H. Burchak Scientific-Research Institute of Private Law and Entrepreneurship at the National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine.
Ievgen holds Master’s Degree with Honours in International Law from the Ukrainian State University of Finance and International Trade. After defending a thesis titled “Restriction of Application of Conflict-of-Law Rules in the Private International Law of Ukraine” in 2016, Ievgen became a Candidate of Science of Law (PhD equal). He regularly publishes articles and commentaries on various topics relating to international commercial arbitration, private international law, international contract law etc. In addition, Ievgen actively participates in various moot court competitions, serving as either a judge or a team coach.
