ABOUT
Anastasiia Nguien is a lawyer in Odessa-based law firm “JURLINE” admitted to practice as an Attoney at Law assistant. She has experience in various topics relating to international commercial law, taxation, corporate law and labour law. Both by her day-to-day legal practice and involvement in different initiatives including LegalTech promotion she aims to combat poor regulatory enforcement and legal uncertainty in order to help conducting business in Ukraine.
Anastasiia Nguien holds a Master Degree with Honours in Law as well as a Bachelor degree with Honours in Management of Foreign Economic Activity from the I.I. Mechnikov Odessa National University. She has completed law courses at Turku University and Åbo Akademi as an Erasmus student. Anatasiia Nguien is an alumni of Youth Generation Will Change Ukraine 2014 and European Associates Programm Nordbayern 2016. She has interned in the regional state administration and different law firms including “NZP Nagy Legal” based in Germany.
During her studies she has participated in numerous moot-courts (Mock Arbitration Online, Frankfurt Investment Moot Court, Stetson Moot-Court Competition in international environmental law, International Competition on Commercial Arbitration under the auspices of the European Arbitration Chamber) now resulting in serving as a judge in the students competitions and moot-courts.
She is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian and has a basic knowledge of French and Vietnamese.
