The Library offers a specialist fellowship to support applicants wanting to utilise the Library’s collections on a project exploring Ukrainian history and/or culture.

The Library’s collection includes holdings documenting migration and settlement, literature, history, politics and popular culture.

The fellowship carries a grant of $22,000 and is for a period of five months full time, or longer if undertaken in a part-time capacity.

Please note: this fellowship project must explore the contribution of the Ukrainian community within Australia. Please include how you intend to do this in your response to Question 9 in the application form.

Applications for the 2017–18 fellowship opened on Friday 27 January and close on Sunday 23 April 2017.

If you have specific questions about the Ukrainian Studies Foundation in Australia Fellowship requirements or selection process, contact Gail Schmidt at fellows@slv.vic.gov.au or on 03 8664 7335.
