Experiment-42, an Odessa-based start-up mentorship programme, has begun accepting applications for the next intake of its pre-acceleration programme. Boasting a dedicated team of growth experts, Experiment-42 gives early-stage tech start-ups a springboard into the Ukrainian market.
The accelerator works on an equity-free basis. However, its services are extended exclusively to businesses with a good revenue potential.
Following a series of Skype interviews, the mentors will pinpoint most promising start-ups among the applicant pool. It is expected that approved candidates will represent a broad range of fields – from software&hardware-based solutions to augmented reality and IoT.
Once accepted to pre-acceleration, start-ups receive 6 weeks of guided tutelage. The incubation programme is geared towards equipping the founders with high-demand, industry-specific skill-set.
The main aim of the programme is to bring the companies closer to the market launch. Nonetheless, mentors will also dedicate a lion’s share of time to help aspiring entrepreneurs build a compelling business image. Which essentially includes harnessing pitching skills and advancing the knowledge of English language.
Past-year achievements show that such strategy is a workable one: companies graduate from Experiment-42 with a validated product concept.
As of today, Experiment-42 has paved an avenue for a string of disruptive entrepreneurial projects, among them Fines.UA (Штрафы.ЮА) – a start-up which aims to democratize the procedure for paying traffic fines in Ukraine.
Applications are accepted via the official website of the Experiment.
