ABOUT
Marta Barandiy holds Master Degree in International Law from Lviv Ivan Franko National University and post-Master and PhD from University of Saarland in Germany. Her PhD thesis was developing the idea of state sovereignty in international and European Law. For 4 years, she was customer relations coordinator at Volvo Group. Now, Marta is highly involved in academic, social and political activities in Europe. Being Chief of Brussels-based NGO, Promote Ukraine, Marta has implemented a great variety of projects to promote Ukraine in the EU’s capital (2 events at the European Parliament, 2 at the universities of Belgium, 1 with the 3rd President of Ukraine in Antwerp). She is also a guest lecturer at the Ukrainian Free University in Munich and director of International Relations of the Ukrainian Magazine “Business Woman” in Brussels.
Marta speaks 7 languages (English, German, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, French and Dutch). She is excellent in communication and negotiation in international environment.
